we’re back from an amazing show and so, so grateful for all of your support!
our demo team were the real MVPs of the show. we had thirteen booth staff*, some of whom had never been to any convention before!
they worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had fun at the demo tables, got their wishlist from the shop, and had all their questions answered.
every morning, our shop had a buzzing line for 2-3 hours. y’all were definitely excited for compile, though there were also plenty of zenith, yokohama duel, and cookierun fans too!
we handed out “golden tickets” to track the copies for the day. seeing excited faces light up knowing they got a copy of their most anticipated games meant so much to our whole team.
we allocated 170 copies of compile: main 2 for each of the first three days. by the end of the week, we had sold out of main 2 and main 1, and their respective playmats.
while we didn’t sell out of any other game, we got close! our partners at cookierun had many products at our booth. the TCG accessories and plushies were super popular, and we only went home with a few copies of the other games.
designer of compile, michael yang, spent time at our booth most days - demoing and signing copies of main 1 and main 2.
you all sure kept him busy! he shared how meaningful these interactions with you were, with a big smile on his face even at the end of busy days.
of course, the demo tables for zenith, yokohama duel, and tower up were also hopping. those chairs were seemingly never empty!
