Meet PlayPunk
PlayPunk is a Belgian game publisher that burst onto the tabletop scene in 2024 with its first release, Captain Flip. While the company may be new, its founders bring years of experience creating some of the industry’s most recognizable games.
PlayPunk was founded by Thomas Provoost, co-founder and co-manager of Repos Production, who helped bring games such as Just One and Concept to life, and acclaimed designer Antoine Bauza, known for favorites including Tokaido, 7 Wonders, and Draftosaurus.
Together, they are bringing their playful ideas and tabletop expertise to a growing lineup of accessible, imaginative, and strategically satisfying games.
Learn, Play, and Save!
PlayPunk will host Learn & Play sessions for two upcoming releases. All sessions will take place in Hall D and cost just $2 to participate.
Every attendee will also receive a $2 coupon redeemable at the Luma Imports booth, allowing you to put the cost of your session directly toward a game you enjoyed. It is the perfect Gen Con “try before you buy” experience!

What PlayPunk Is Bringing to Gen Con
PlayPunk is bringing a mix of pirate adventures and interplanetary strategy to the Luma Imports booth this year, with fan favorites and upcoming expansions available to discover.
Captain Flip and Its Expansions
Build a colorful pirate crew, take a few risks, and collect as much treasure as possible in Captain Flip, a fast and approachable tile-drawing game filled with clever choices.
Players can also expand their adventures with Captain Flip: In the Jaws of the Kraken, which introduces a new tactical board and a solo challenge.
The upcoming Captain Flip: Isla Bomba expansion adds four new boards and five treasure maps, giving experienced captains even more ways to change their strategies, build their crews, and chase treasure.
Captain Flip: Isla Bomba releases August 28, 2026, but Gen Con attendees can try it early during a Learn & Play session.
Zenith and Secret Agents
For players looking for something more strategic, Zenith is a tense battle for control of the Solar System. Two players, or two teams, compete for influence across five planets using diplomacy, technology, and carefully timed card play.
The upcoming Zenith: Secret Agents booster adds new Agent cards to the base game, creating fresh tactical possibilities without introducing a complicated set of new rules.
Zenith: Secret Agents releases September 25, 2026, and attendees can preview it during select Learn & Play sessions in Hall D.
