queen games is coming to gen con 2026!

Gen Con is almost here, and we are wrapping up our publisher previews with one more exciting lineup!

Queen Games, a family-owned publisher based in Germany, is joining Luma Imports at Gen Con 2026 with six games that offer everything from strategic city building and tactical action selection to fast-paced wordplay and cozy woodland competition.

You will be able to discover Alhambra, Fox Grove, Fast Out, Out of Words, Five Families and Ronin, with Learn & Play events taking place throughout the convention. Visit the Luma Imports booth #2841 to explore the Queen Games lineup, then head to the Gen Con Event Finder to reserve your spot at the table.

Five Families

Set in 1931 New York City during Prohibition, Five Families is a strategic area-control game where rival Mafia families compete for territory and influence. Send mobsters into key districts, manage resources, and use illegal alcohol to gain an advantage as you build your criminal empire.

Five Families will be available to check out at the Luma Imports booth, but it will not have scheduled Learn & Play events.

Alhambra

Build a palace complex worthy of admiration in Alhambra.

Players collect and place colorful building tiles as they expand their cities and attempt to create the longest connected walls. The approachable tile-placement system makes Alhambra a welcoming choice for families, newer players, and mixed-experience groups while still offering meaningful decisions throughout the game.

The upcoming Alhambra Family & Friends Edition streamlines the classic city-building experience with quick turns, intuitive rules, and a vibrant palace that grows across the table as you play.

Alhambra events will run throughout Gen Con, including several Learn & Play sessions and two Mini Tournaments for players ready to put their city-building skills to the test.

Fox Grove

Autumn has arrived in the forest, and the animals of Fox Grove are preparing their village for winter.

Across four rounds, players use a clever twist on trick-taking to collect wood, nuts, and maple leaves. Those resources can then be delivered to forest homes, used to expand a personal village, and exchanged for buildings that generate points and unlock helpful abilities.

Fox Grove combines card play, resource management, and tableau building in a cozy woodland setting. It also includes an introductory mode that provides an easier starting point for families and newer players before they explore the full strategic game.

Four Fox Grove Learn & Play sessions will be available from Thursday through Sunday.

Fast Out

How quickly can you think under pressure?

In Fast Out, everyone plays at the same time. Check the category in the center, look at your letter cards, and race to call out a matching answer before another player gets there first.

Name a sport beginning with “T,” a food beginning with “P,” or another answer that fits the current challenge. Play your card, change the category, and keep the game moving until someone gets rid of their entire stack.

With simple rules, simultaneous play, and more than ten categories, Fast Out is an energetic party game built for family gatherings, game nights, and groups that love quick-thinking challenges.

Fast Out Learn & Play events will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Out of Words

Think quickly before your options disappear.

Out of Words is a fast-paced word and category game where players race against the clock to create words and complete challenges. Everyone plays simultaneously, which means there is no downtime as the entire table scrambles to find answers and stay ahead of the competition.

Its easy-to-learn rules make it accessible for families and casual players, while the pressure created by disappearing letters keeps every round exciting for experienced word-game fans.

Out of Words Learn & Play sessions will be available every day of Gen Con.

Ronin

Stripped of your title and cast out from your clan, you begin Ronin as a masterless samurai searching for a path back to honor.

During four rounds, players place their ronin in cities across the Japanese empire and work to expand their influence throughout its regions. By collecting resources and choosing placements carefully, players can complete missions that unlock special abilities and award valuable victory points.

Ronin combines tactical action selection with strategic planning, giving every decision the power to shape your journey and determine whether your name will be restored. The game is manufactured in Europe using high-quality, eco-friendly components.

Three-hour Ronin Learn & Play sessions will be available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Make Queen Games Part of Your Gen Con Plans

Whether you want to construct a palace, prepare a woodland village for winter, test your vocabulary, race through rapid-fire categories, or restore the honor of a wandering samurai, the Queen Games lineup has a table waiting for you.

Visit Luma Imports at booth #2841 during Gen Con 2026 to check out these games and more. Learn & Play space is limited, so search for each event through the Gen Con Event Finder and sign up before the convention begins.

We cannot wait to see everyone in Indianapolis!
