The countdown to SPIEL Essen is officially on!
From October 22–25, 2026, the tabletop world will come together in Essen, Germany, for four days packed with new releases, demos, events, tournaments, and more games than anyone could possibly fit in a suitcase. And yes, Luma Imports will be there!
You can find us throughout the show in Hall 2, Booth 2E610, where we’ll have games to shop, titles to demo, daily Compile tournaments, show specials, and even an early look at something coming in 2027.
Whether you already have a must-play list or plan to wander the halls and see where the games take you, here’s everything you need to know before stopping by Luma Imports at SPIEL Essen 2026.
Compile: Main 3 Is Coming to Essen
A brand-new Compile set is arriving just in time for SPIEL Essen! Compile: Main 3 officially releases October 16, 2026, and you’ll be able to purchase it at our booth during the show.
To help more attendees get their hands on a copy, we’ll have 300 copies of Compile: Main 3 available each morning Thursday through Saturday. Any copies remaining will also be available to purchase on Sunday.
And there’s a little something extra waiting for early adopters. Purchase Compile: Main 3 from the Luma Imports booth during SPIEL Essen and receive a FREE Compile Event Booster while supplies last.
Already building out your Compile collection? We’ll also have Compile: Main 1–3, Aux 1–3, Playmats 1–3, and Event Boosters available to shop, making Essen a great chance to fill in any gaps in your lineup.
Compete in Daily Compile Tournaments
Shopping for Compile is only part of the fun. You’ll also have the chance to put your Protocols to the test. We’ll be hosting Compile tournaments every morning Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 AM–2:00 PM, with space for 8 players per tournament.
If you want to find the events before or during the show, open the SPIEL Essen app, select Program, choose All Events, and search “Compile” to view the event details.
Whether you’ve been playing since Main 1 or Main 3 will be your first introduction to the game, stop by and see how your strategy stacks up.
Get an Early Look at Chimerium
SPIEL Essen will also be one of your first chances to sit down with Chimerium, an upcoming title from Synapses Games ahead of its planned 2027 release. Step into its magic-infused Victorian world and get an early look at what’s ahead by joining us for a demo at Booth 2E610.
If discovering games before they hit the shelf is one of your favorite parts of SPIEL, make sure Chimerium is on your list.
Pull Up a Chair and Play
Of course, Chimerium isn’t the only game hitting our demo tables. Throughout all four days of the show, you’ll be able to try Circadia, Compile, Frosted Blooms, Medium: The Hand of Fate, and Not Alone (remastered edition) with the Luma Imports team.
Maybe you’ve had one of them on your wish list for months. Maybe you’ll sit down knowing absolutely nothing about it and leave with a new favorite. Either way, come pull up a chair and play a round with us.
