Bruxelles 1893: Belle Epoque is a worker placement game with elements of bidding and majority. Each player is an architect of the end of the 19th century and tries to realize, by various actions, an architectural work in the Art Nouveau style. The most successful building earns the most points. The action board is modular, with each player not having access to every action every turn. Some actions cost money while other actions are free but can potentially cost you one of your workers. Once everyone has refrained from taking any further actions, the turn ends and players have an art show during which they can sell art. Afterwards, players receive prestige points or bonus cards based on the symbols they placed next to their workers on the action board.
